On 7 December 2022, Memorial Italia was awarded a Certificate of Civic Merit at the Ambrogino d'Oro ceremony at Teatro Dal Verme.

The ceremony was hosted by the City of Milan and featured the Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala.
