2026 marks the 10-year anniversary of the passing of the great Umberto Eco.

On 16 May 2026 at 17:15, Elena Kostioukovitch will feature in an event in his memory, "Umberto Eco: Ten Years Without", part of the Turin International Book Fair.

The event will be held at Padiglione 1, Sala Granata, at the usual Festival location, Lingotto Fiere.

On this occasion, Elena Kostioukovitch will also present her upcoming book about her memories of Umberto Eco, called "Tradurre Umberto Eco mentre scoppiano le rivoluzioni" (La Nave di Teseo).

Elena will feature along literary critic and photographer Roberto Cotroneo, philosopher Maurizio Ferraris and University of Bologna professor, Anna Maria Lorusso.
