In the last few months of this eventful 2022, a former-KGB officer appeared on the front page of every possible newspaper and, surely, inside the thoughts of many of us, with the same unanswered question: "What's going on inside his mind?". In company of the two authors, we will chronicle the actions and words of the Russian leader, until the moments just before the invasion of Ukraine, trying to delve more deeply into reasons which could seem merely political and economic, but may be hiding much, much more.
