On 12 December 2025, Elena Kostioukovitch was a guest of Sofia International Literature Festival, featuring in a conference at the Sofia National Palace of Culture (NDK).

The event, moderated by Daria Karapetkova, was focused on Elena's experience translating Umberto Eco's works and was called "Translating Umberto Eco".

The conference, organized by the Italian Culture Insitute and the Italian Embassy in collaboration with the Bulgarian Book Association, took place at NDK (Bulgaria Blvd, 1463 Sofia, Bulgaria) at 17:00.

The event was held in Italian with simultaneous Bulgarian translation.
